Title: Fleet Sales Representative
Location: Anywhere, USA

 

Overview :

Exciting opportunity for an experienced vehicle fleet and/or fuel management sales professional to execute sales strategies to ensure volume and profitability goals are achieved and exceeded for SCT Performance, LLC. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, self-motivated business development professional with at least five years of successful new account development experience.

 

About SCT:

SCT is a leading provider of customizable and pre-programmable engine tuning devices and related accessories for the specialty automotive equipment market. The company develops, manufacturers and markets the software and hardware necessary to materially improve the power, responsiveness and fuel economy of cars and light and medium duty (Class 1-6) trucks. The company targets its sales in three primary markets: (i) performance oriented products for automotive enthusiasts, (ii) fuel savings devices for the retail marketplace, and (iii) performance and fuel savings products for public and privately operated fleets. This position will be responsible for generating sales in the fleet segment of the business. SCT is owned by its employees and a growth-oriented private equity investment firm and is headquartered near Orlando, FL.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities :

This position will be responsible for developing SCT’s entry into all segments (i.e., corporate, utility, government) of the fleet industry. The Fleet Sales Representative will employ consultative selling skills to win new accounts. He or she will execute business development strategies and manage all aspects of a multi-level sales cycle.

 

Identify key decision-makers and stakeholders, and develop multi-level (e.g., CFO, CIO, Fleet Managers, Procurement Specialists) relationships within target companies;

 

Establish credibility as a knowledgeable industry resource;

 

Manage the sales process to maintain momentum, create a sense of urgency, and motivate decision makers to act;

  Prepare and present winning sales proposals that address the specific needs of the prospective client;
  Convey the value proposition of SCT products;
  Maintain an accurate, up-to-date database on all prospects. Report relevant information regarding potential new accounts, target companies, and competitor’s practices; and
  Contribute to the development of sales goals, annual plans, marketing materials, and fleet web site development.
 

Qualifications :

 

Significant first-hand experience selling products, services, fuel management and/or engine and driver management programs to corporate, utility and government fleets;

 

Significant industry contacts and relationships that will facilitate sales of SCT products to corporate, utility and government fleet operators;

 

5+ years of sales experience; and

 

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience.

 

Other :

 

Salary commensurate with experience, high and uncapped commission plan plus participation in bonus program;

 

Fringe benefits (car allowance, medical, etc.); and

  Ability to travel extensively for national sales
