Mercury’s consulting engagements frequently require that we investigate, analyze, and make recommendations on processes and functions that are highly specialized or even proprietary to the client we are serving.

Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications are not the right tools for such situations. Instead, these engagements require our consultants to develop a new, targeted software program or routine that enables us to conduct a finely directed analysis of a program or service that might differentiate the client from competitors or would-be market entrants.

In other cases, a client’s attempts to manage its fleet operation might be hampered by an information system that has inadequate documentation, deficient database design, or poor reporting architecture. We can produce custom, ad hoc reports that enable you to extract important metrics that otherwise would be hidden or incomplete.
